Utah AND BYU fans live here

There seems to be some confusion about an earlier posting and I just wanted to set the record straight. You see, the day Ethan was wearing the Utah sweatshirt had nothing to do with school pride. We weren't even thinking about universities. Rather, that day was the "Vote For Where You Want to Live with Your Sweatshirt Day." I was wearing a Bountiful sweatshirt and Ethan chose to wear a Utah sweathshirt. Heather apparently wants to live in some place called "Hurley."

P.S. To demonstrate his BYU pride, the photo above is of Ethan while he was singing the Cougar Fight Song. "Rise and Shout, the Cougars are out...."

Utah fans--NO WAY!!

I got some complaints about Ethan wearing his University of Utah sweatshirt and I just wanted to set the record straight---we are BYU fans, not Utah fans. The sweatshirt was actually a joke from Eric's brother and sister-in-law. Eric is a diehard BYU fan, but his family loves the U, so the sweatshirt was to get a rise out of Eric, which it did! So, don't worry everyone, we have not gone to the dark side, we still love BYU.

The cutest little boy!

I decided we needed at least one picture of Ethan on here. Don't worry there will be plenty more to come!

Our House...Continued

Here are more pictures of our home. The first one is of the front of our house, the next is Eric's office, and then the bottom one is the kitchen. From the kitchen, you can enter the laundry room and the pantry and then our garage. When you go upstairs, there are three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Videos of Ethan!

Sometime later this week I'll figure out how to embed these videos directly on this webpage. Until then, you can see videos of Ethan by clicking on the link on the right. Enjoy!

Our House

Okay. This is what you see when you come in our front door. Our dining room is on the right (see the chairs); Eric's office is straight ahead beyond the stairs; the kitchen is diagonally to the left; and the living room is directly left (you can't see it here).

Finally trying the blog thing

Okay. After attempting a blog nearly two years ago and then deciding that it was a fad and hoping to wait it out, I'm back. Or rather, this time, we're back.

Hopefully, you'll see all sorts of interesting things about our personal lives that will make you want to be us. Or, more likely, you'll see a lot of the newest addition to Team Nelson. If you've come to our blog hoping to find something worthwhile and haven't found it, e-mail us and urge us onward.
